Book Week is one of the great highlights of our year at Clairvaux. We enjoy lots of activities during Book Week, but on the final day, we hold a special celebration in our hall.

Every year we look forward to finding out the theme and each Learning Community works hard together to plan and create a short performance to present to the many parents, grandparents and friends who come to watch. Of course one of the most exciting parts is deciding on our costumes and many families get into the act by adding ideas and assistance.

On our special Book Week celebration day we can’t wait to have our turn to perform, but we really love to watch all the other classes too, as they are ALL fantastic. Even the teachers get into the act and they are always very funny to watch.

Thanks to all the teachers and children for their great ideas and hard work, and to the families for supporting their children with their costumes and for being such an enthusiastic audience. It is always a wonderful day!

Here are some of the highlights of our 2012 celebration.
