At school, we have been talking recently about

and the POSITIVE and NEGATIVE influences on our learning.

We have been learning since we were born – sometimes on our own and sometimes with the help of someone else. Learning never stops! It continues all our lives – learning to walk and talk, to count, to do up our shoelaces, to read and write, to calculate Maths problems, to play music, to ride a bike, to swim, to play various sports, to drive a car, to get along with people .  .   .   .   It goes on and on and on . . . .

Sometimes when we learn, we are successful and we feel great! Sometimes we will fail or make mistakes and we don’t feel so good . .  BUT when we are feeling challenged, that’s when we need PERSEVERANCE to keep on trying until we find a solution to the problem.

Watch how Ormie the pig never gives up .   .   .  Food Clipart Images

but tries and tries LOTS of ideas to reach the cookie jar on top of the fridge.

Okay .  .  . I guess now poor Ormie has a new problem, but something tells me that Ormie will have a new set of ideas to try.

So go ahead . . . . give it a go!

You might fail or make mistakes, but if things don’t work out for you straight away, try looking for other solutions to help you achieve your goals

.  .  .  just like Ormie the Pig!
